Specificity and Sensitivity
The SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Cassette has been compared
with a commercial PCR test, the results indicate a high specificity
and sensitivity:
• Relative Sensitivity: 95.05%
• Relative Specificity : 98.99%
• Accuracy: 97.00%

 

 

Testing procedure

Sample collection

Wash hands thoroughly before testing. Carefully remove the swab from its sealed pouch and insert into one nostril and gently rotate the swab around the inside of the nose for around 5-10 seconds, repeat this process on the other nostril.

Sample Preparation

→Add 300µL (~10 drops) of sample extraction solution to the extraction tube, and then completely immerse the swab head in the sample extraction buffer in the tube.

SOLUTION AS PER FIG.1, THIS POUCH SIMPLY NEEDS TO BE SQUEEZED
DIRECTLY INTO THE EXTRACTION TUBE TO AVOIDWASTAGE WITH DROPPER BOTTLES.

→Vigorously mix the solution by rotating the swab forcefully against the side of the tube at least 10 times (while submerged) for about 1 minute and squeeze the tube 5 times by hand to ensure that the sample on the sampling swab is fully eluted into the sample extraction solution.

 

→ Squeeze the swab head along the inner wall of the extraction tube to keep the liquid in the tube as much as possible. Discard the swab and cover the drip head to mix the liquid thoroughly

Test Operation

1. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and place on a
clean dry surface. Dispense 80µL (3 drops) of the specimen
into the circular sample well on the cassette.

2. Interpret the test results at 15~20 minutes. Do not interpret
the results after 20 minutes.

3. Discard used test tubes and Test device in suitable
biohazards waste container.
